atheism in a sentence

For those of you not aware, there’s a lively discussion about whether paedophile priests are a homosexual problem over at Catholic Truth Blog. On this post you can learn that heterosexual men would never abuse boys, that when priests were saints the Catholic church never had this problem, that the only Christian church that can get you into heaven is the Catholic one, that you can’t feel safe in a church that is under 400 years old because it’s too far removed from Jesus and a whole host of other ‘facts’.

You can also find a paragraph explaining what atheism is:

Atheism – The belief that there was Nothing, and Nothing happened to Nothing and then Nothing magically exploded for no reason, creating everything, and then a bunch of everything magically rearranged itself for no reason whatsoever into self –replicating bits which then turned into dinosaurs.

I quite liked that sentence and decided to have a reciprocal go at describing Christianity:

Christianity – The belief there was a deity created by Nothing who made the existence we inhabit in seven days, ignored the human population of the world for 4000 years except to invisibly order around a tiny group of people in the Middle East, frequently inciting murder, rape and even genocide, then decided to benevolently come to earth in the form of his own son as a sacrifice to himself for the bad behaviour of all human beings, but for the next 1500 years was not available to anyone in America, Australia, or most of Asia and Africa.

Anyone got a better sentence?
