Blogging window
I used to blog a lot but I ran out of time. Now I have a window and I have nothing to say. Browsing posts I see that Pink has hung a picture, Insanity stalks local people in her area and whispers that Jesus loves them in a creepy way when they’re out shopping, and that Barry is exasperated by US gun lobby responses to the recent shooting in New Zealand. All reasonable places to start a post, but nothing is typing itself out on these topics.
So I turn to you, my remaining long lost Blogland friend(s), for inspiration. What am I missing? Who should I follow? What issues need to be examined? Is WordPress still alive or has everyone moved to Twitter?

I felt a terrible itch the other day, a kind of unusual burning as if a trillion trillion agitated particles were passing nearby. Guess that’s now explained. Do you like our new dictator wannabe?

Haven’t checked. I know dickwad was eager to pass a bunch of laws to open it up, but I don’t know what’s happened with them. He’s not having much fun on the legislative side, so he’s been mostly playing on Twitter. I’m actually a bit disappointed. He declared tomorrow was going to be Celebrate the Military Dictatorship Day. How cool is that? It was his idea, and a what a beautiful idea it was. Unfortunately, some less-enlightened folk around him have persuaded him to call the party off. Shame, because I really, really, really wanted to hear the speech to mark this rainbow history.

Wow, that is truly insane! I wonder what new administrative structure for human societies can emerge from this mess, because what we’re using right now doesn’t seem to function very well in many countries. And social media definitely has a hand in it.

Social media *is* the problem. The majority of people are normal, sane, rational, generally goodhearted. One person from a tiny, tiny island of genuinely crazy people says something ludicrous on social media to another genuinely crazy person who just so happens to physically live 327 kilometres away, who then shares this piece of gold-plated lunacy with two other genuinely crazy people he met online and who live 1,200 and 2,300 kilometres away respectively. Following a misplaced search for Anime porn, a single person who (apart from her rather odd preoccupation with animated Japanese porn) happily resides on the vast continent of sane, rational, generally goodhearted people arrives accidently on the page of the tiny island crazy person where this nugget of lunacy immediately catches her attention. Anime porn girl is shocked, leaves an appropriately terse, grammatically correct comment, and then shares the insanity with her circle of sane, rational, generally goodhearted people who, in turn, share it with their circles of sane, rational, generally goodhearted people, and before you know it hundreds of sane, rational, generally goodhearted (grammatically astute) people suddenly swing into action to demolish the lunacy and defend normalcy. Result: Crazy thing tiny island person said is elevated into the public consciousness and, against all odds, by 3 O’clock Monday afternoon actually becomes something. Becoming something merely motivates more people from the continent of sane, rational, generally goodhearted people to jump in and let tiny island crazy people know they’re fucking insane. This makes the people living on the sane, rational, generally goodhearted continent feel good about themselves, but the unexpected result of this brief warm fuzzy feeling is that tiny island crazy people magically advance twelve-thousand levels in Wizard Power, broadening their resolve to post nonsense, and by doing so, attracting millions of sane, rational, generally goodhearted people to their virtual doorstep just to say “Fuck off.” Result: an advertising placement professional named Nigel tells man selling really cool socks (named Angus) that he should invest a reasonable sum of money (*reasonable considering the cost of other media placements) and carpet-bomb tiny island crazy people’s pages on social media. Angus doesn’t like tiny island crazy people, he thinks they’re insane spoons, and they are, but Nigel is persuasive (he loathes tiny island crazy people too, and over Snapchat they laugh about their shared humanity), and so he agrees and writes out a cheque. Business is business, after all. Now, because his socks really are very cool, Angus makes a staggeringly quick fortune from online sales made from the millions of sane, rational, generally goodhearted people who happen to see his appealing ads between bouts of yelling FUCK OFF FUCKTRUMPETS to the latest crap posted by tiny island crazy people…. who’re now posting their insane bullshit between giving interviews with big city magazine journalists determined to write that killer article on just how brain-haemorrhaging insane—and dangerous—tiny island crazy people are. That Wednesday, TV producer from cable news reads killer magazine article, gets a spectacularly bad idea, and invites tiny island crazy person on that night to discuss a host of his ludicrous ideas with smart people who—TV producer hopes—will completely lose their shit as they tell tiny island crazy person just how ludicrous those ludicrous ideas really are. Surprising no one, it proves a ratings bonanza as millions upon millions of sane, rational, generally goodhearted people scream FUCK OFF at their televisions while wondering who on God’s Green Earth would give this weapons-grade fucknugget a platform to spout such bullshit. Thursday morning, clips from cable news show are shared around the world, and at 11.22 AM tiny island crazy person gets a call from an extraordinarily successful ambulance-chasing publicist. At 1.30 PM, Angus buys that plane he always dreamed of, and then, just as the wheels leave the tarmac, he texts Nigel with a hilarious meme he just saw showing just how insane tiny island crazy people are.

The latter is particularly egregious. These hippy loons (fraudsters?) literally believe….or claim to believe…that they do not need food (or water) and can subsist on magical energy (Prana). I am not sure how this has any traction on the web, but my god, there are dozens of hippy loons who have YouTube channels. Even when they film themselves eating and drinking (or smoking cannabis!) it is all a lifestyle choice for them…they do not NEED to eat, they say.

Can’t help but to say the Creator made the hippo as well as the stiff necked giraffe, and the fact that you somehow managed to find fault with my friend!s (ib22) interactions with fellow humans, seems enough proof that you do not value differences in animals, oops I mean people.
But inspiration? Takes me not even a quarter of a second to find inspiration in ANYTHING.

Thanks dear lion. Curious thing about our animal brain that it doesn’t perform on command. My daily vocabulary at this point in life mainly consists of “be careful”, “don’t touch that”, “gentle hands” then intense work brain followed by rushing around and collapsing exhausted at night. I haven’t exercised the blogging area of my brain in quite some time, but I’m sure interaction with you is a nice starting point.
Thanks for acknowledging that in some way atheists have advanced minds. But it’s not really true, we all have similar brains. We possibly have different life experiences that allow us to process facts more efficiently. But I’m biased, as are you, so can’t say for sure.
Would you find it odd if I went round shops whispering “The god God doesn’t exist” to people who profess religious beliefs online?

You know, the brain that knows it is wrong to lie and steal, while the hungry lion will first steal the deer that the hyena killed, then go take a nap having done nothing wrong. So no, animal brains and human brains are as night and day.
As to me finding it odd per your conversation with others about no God? It’s only odd in the sense that you are mistaken, not odd in the sense that you so choose to engage.
Your ‘dialog’ with others with surely be met with swift and careful demolition by someone such as myself, here and now.

Interesting perspective. Do you eat meat or animal products? I suspect you do and then take a nap as if you have done nothing wrong. And yet my animal brain informs me that the suffering is not justified. All animals process facts differently. You appear to be more like the lion than me.

Lions, while occasionally amused by the likes of whippersnappers such as honey badgers, are fearless, even though many say a male lion is scared to death of the lady who does the cooking. lol
If the roar of that beast doesn’t put fear into its proper place, that is, in men and other animals, so like the thunderstorm and lightning crack, that being a reverential fear such as honor, then surely what can a few lines by me do for you?
As to my diet, irrelevant, unnecessary, and a diversion in the online world. I’ll keep you guessing.
But truth and lions go hand in hand- that’s one reason why many past customers at my blog have fled for the hills. They cannot tolerate distinct confidence in God’s word, and that without apology.

I heard from Emily. Yes, there were blackouts and load shedding, but some nutter stole their telecoms cables… as in, flogged the capables for the entire area. She wrote last week and said then they had no notice of when everything will be back, and the best they had was sporadic mobile coverage. Fun times.

All well in my life, just overwhelmed with with parenting. I don’t know how other people cope, hah. Brexit is a shambles and a disgrace – I scarcely follow what is happening because it’s all so awful and depressing. I see from the following conversation that Ark is having blackouts again – has he been gone long? Or is two days still enough to cause concern?
How are things with you? No conversion to religion in the last year? I kind of hope when I log back in that there will weird developments but it seems that people dying is the main news each year. How depressing!

Whatever she wills flows awkwardly as ink blots on oil spills—futility presses forth tripe and driveled lines untold. Oh I don’t really know. I’ve found it’s more fun to observe and report. Nothing at all is the way they say it is. Mel has a post I’ve been chewing at s couple days but this is the first time in a long time I’ve commented.
Good to see you pop up in the radar. Most of the comments and discussion has moved to my spot for now. Ark disappeared a few weeks ago. Victoria is MIA most of the time too. The little band of reprobates has a lot of new faces, we just move on. WordPress is where blogs go to die.

You could have a look at this. Apparently the greatest threats to women’s rights are surrogacy and trans, which go together like love and a horse, or marriage and mountaineering as far as I can see. It’s very long and I have sufficient desire to keep the will to live atm, so I haven’t read it.

Wow, that’s an interesting one, not sure how much I can bear to read either. But it’s useful as a clearly laid out panic over the existence of trans people contravening theory and therefore giving people a “cannot compute” moment. Much easier to see the issues causing the irrational fear and attack, in contrast with people like Arb who gives consistent and semi-covert attack that amounts to half-truth daily propaganda obscuring his true motives.
Anyway, thanks, I’ll see if that can kick-start me. Was mulling over a Falkland Islands post and the power of propaganda on both sides. How are things with you?

Inflation is out of control, the cost of living is ridiculous even for the middle classes. Classism and racism are horrendous, so there’s no way out for the massive underclass, and crime becomes the only option for many, and the cycle of stereotyping continues. TV is utter trash (although the national channel Encuentro is a beacon of hope, even caught a piece on feminism). I’m beginning to see the sense in those who supported Cristina saying “roban pero dan” – they steal but they give – which seemed repulsive at the time but now people are actually starving you can see that kind of expression of desperation is their only hope. They may rip off the country for millions of dollars and give huge contracts to their mates, but on some level the poorest in society can just about get by. No idea how a country can get out of these kind of ruts. Do you? What’s happening there?

There was a politician here, Paulo Malouf, like that. Corrupt as all hell, but people think fondly of him because a crap-load of schools and hospitals were built in his time.
How to get out of it? Start afresh. Admit you have a problem. Admit it’s beyond your control and you need help (not an easy thing for people, especially hot-blooded Latinos), and then disband the federal government. Literally, remove every human part of the elected federal government. Insert an interim government composed of New Zealanders and Australians and Norwegians and Swedes. This body opens the books and gets to work straightening everything out. 7 years later, they leave.

I just had a blazing row with an anti-Peronista about this. I had to back down because she’s recently had a heart attack. Confirmed all my suspicions about the embedded racism and classism, but also helped me understand a bit more the the damage they’ve done over the years. As a close neighbour do you have any opinion on Macri? He does seem to be cleaning a lot up. Probably won’t get re-elected in October and it will be back to the same of mafia.

Honestly, I’ve heard nothing about Macri. Brazilian news is mostly local, and as we’re SP, it’s mostly all SP… Because we’re important 😉

I don’t know enough about it I guess, just random musings from an outsider subjected to it once a year. That the Kirchners and their friends are corrupt is beyond doubt. Their daughter who had US$4 million is a safety deposit box and is under investigation refused to appear in court today – she’s in Cuba suddenly getting treatment for a ‘mystery illness’. Is there a network of super rich socialists out there driving social change by squirrelling away cash for their friends and family while the country stumbles on with poverty and corruption? I wonder how they justify it to themselves.

Straight. Those countries don’t have a dog in the game, and they don’t really want to be there. Get in, sort things out, point it all in the right dirtect, and jump on a plane after fresh elections. I was actually hoping Brazil would finally do something, say “Enough,” and send the army in. Not to shoot things up, but to do what Australia did in E Timor. Just move in, settle everythign down, and give some breathing room for repairs.
